OK

Im sorry, my computer is having technical difficulties and I cannot put pictures up! :( However, I would, if i could, put up pictures from England, from the 10yr celebration for the p's and miss lipp, and soon, some from spirit week that i'm gonna get from Rachael. woohoo. So y'all be patient. :D Patience is a good thing to learn. :) hehe.

Woohoo! I'm posting something for AMY! yay. I'm BACK in Romania, by the way! I'm so thankful i'm back in the country, and at BCA! the retreat was really cool, and so was going up to the mathers' land last weekend. I'll post more later--and more thoroughly. hehe. (this pic is from this weekend.)

Abia Astept!

This is REALLY July 30th, by the way. My 1/2 birthday! Heheheh.
I am going back to Romania on August 14th! AHHHH yessss. I'm so excited, elated, jubalent, extatic, whatever word Rachael wants to use... :) So I'll be arriving in Bucharest the 15th, even though I know the people from my mission and the Mathers won't be there, but that's ok. I seems like it can't only be 15 days till i leave, cuz there's tons left to do: Keep working, till the 10th, pack everything, have last get-togethers with friends, and say good-bye. All that transition stuff we talked about this weekend at Re-entry. (but for me it's more like 'exit'). Speaking of that, it was so refreshing to be around mks again--esp guys. And even though i only knew them for 2 days, i already miss a couple ppl esp. :( But i'll survive. Emily should be bringing a full cd of pictures with her today. :D
AND i got to see Raymond this weekend! I also had to say goodbye to my friend who is leaving for germany today. Don't know when i'll see her again. But such is life.

Sonshine

Sonshine was awesome. There were tons of people i knew there from random places, and it was fun seeing all the bands, and lots that i'd never heard before too. I got to know the people from my youth group who were there better too. I have to start working again tomorrow, which makes me tired just thinking about it. I'm going to miss the Sr.high youth thing at my own house, on wednesday cuz i work. I don't think my mom thought of that possiblity when she signed up to do it.. :( That's really sad. I love going to church stuff so much more now, cuz it's my time to get refreshed with God, and to hang out with friends. I wouldn't mind it if school were going to start really soon. if it were time for school again, i'd already know what country i'm going to be in for it, and i wouldn't have to work. (maybe as much, at least). I still have to decide lots of stuff and get some stuff done between now and then, though. For just one more month.

Seven,seven,seven.

I've been at the front counter and registers at work the past 3 days. Time actually goes by a little bit faster up there, especially when it's busy. :)
I  get really indignant when i hear people around me swearing and stuff, which is a good thing, only I don't know if /when i should say something about it. :S Any help? I have gotten to just be myself-especially with one girl i work with in particualar-saying things like: "No, please don't go yell at that lady", "I haven't noticed he's had a bad attidude", "I don't just go flirt with strangers!", "um, no, that's ok. I don't want to go to the club with you", and yah, you get the point. I hope it at least makes her wonder why I'm like that. That same girl told me today that she got engaged last night, and how he asked her and everything, and showed me her ring, and I was truly very excited for her. :) I'll be praying for her too.
I finally got to practice violin yesterday for the first time since monday! (BAD me) I've just been really busy. :(

Bittersweetness

This morning we picked my mom up at the airport, and then took her to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory for her birthday/getting back with my grandparents. I'd never eaten there. It was really good, but really filling, so there were lots of take-home boxes. Then we got home, and my mom gave me my cell phone! :D yay. that was fun, cuz now i can read old messages :D hehe. But even more exciting was that she gave me the 06-07 BCA yearbook! :D And reading it, and looking at all the pictures of all my friends made me smile immensely and incessantly, and laugh out loud sometimes, but it also made me miss them all SO much, and sad that i hadn't been there to share those memories with them! But I am soo thankful i could get one-it meant a lot to me. :D

July!

IT ACTUALLY IS JULY EVEN THOUGH THE DATE SAYS JUNE 30th, I COULDN'T FIX IT. IT'S JULY SECOND
Yesterday and the day before at work, i cleaned the lobby, sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, keeping the drink /condiment bar stocked with stuff. and now my legs are sore. :(
It was my mom's birthday yesterday! And she's coming home tomorrow. I got to see my friends again yesterday after over 2 weeks, while they were in Jamaica on a missions trip which, in January, i didn't think i'd be here to go on. :( We saw pictures of our new apartment--and it looks pretty nice. It has wooden floors, instead of tile. A couple of my friends are sadder than i am that i don't have my old one anymore. hehe. I just think it was soo nice that we even got such a big one for so long in the first place. I don't have to work for 3 days, which is nice. I feel bad for most of the people I work with there, cuz they work a LONG time, ALL the time...and that would be depressing. I'm just there for the summer, but some ppl have been there for yrs, and might STILL be there in a couple years. I think it's sad.
I also think it's giving me an allergy or SOMETHING, cuz whenever i'm there, walking back and forth through the kitchen, i get this like wierd nasal congestion or something like that, and it's what i imagine having an allergy would feel like-even though i don't have any. (That i know of, at least). Anyway. I want to do something fun today. I'm glad it's not as hot here as it is in Romania. It's actually really cool. (no pun intended)

Wooooooooooooooooooooh

Praise the LORD, we DID get the apartment two floors down from our old one! :D They lowered the price!!!! I am ecstatic :) And it happened JUST in time before we are gonna move everything. We've gone through about 4 different possiblilities of where to put the stuff, and this is the best thing God could've given us!

i'm lovin' it!

Well, that might be jumping the gun, cuz i'm only spent 3 hours there so far. (At McDonald's, I mean). What I got to do, though, was get changed into uniform (as seen below) :), And, after driving BACK home to get my brother's black, big,tennis shoes, cuz the ones they ordered for me weren't there yet, I was directed to a girl named Laura who was to train me. Laura is Korean, which I told her why i thought that was cool, cuz i love koreans :D. And she gave me a headset, and explained which button to push to talk to the people in the drive-thru, and I learned how to take their orders. It's really easy, with a touch-screen and pictures of all the stuff :) There was an older man with us, working the register at the window we were next to. Yahh. At first I just watched Laura do it all, then she took the order, while i entered it onto the screen. (We could both hear the same thing). Then i got to the point where i did it all myself, but she still told me what to push exactly for different options like a meal, or not a meal, and whatever. I will say that now i will never have trouble knowing what to order at an American Mcdonald's now! :D (i still didn't know up to today what to say to get what i could order as a "meniu dublucheese" in romania :D I also learned that you can tell a lot about a person from just their voice. They're gender, (duh), age, nationality, and usually their overal attitude, or disposition at the moment :D The whole thing was very educational. I'm looking forward to doing it. But I don't work again till Saturday.
